“I felt confident since it’s common for politicians to make accusations against one another. Nevertheless, I also believed that an arrest or incarceration must have a valid purpose, Manish Sisodia stated.

He remarked that one should never expect to receive a “red carpet welcome” while entering the politics of “activism,” which aims to fight corruption, bring about changes, and build a place among the public.

“I was psychologically ready in that way. But I never imagined that I would spend 17 months in jail over a liquor policy matter,” the former deputy chief minister of Delhi stated .
