Panic at DLF Gurgaon mall after receiving threat E-mail. Seventy percent of the mall has been cleansed, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Vikas Kaushik reports that nothing untoward has been discovered thus far.
Gurugram: According to police, Ambience Mall was evacuated on Saturday after receiving an email alleging that a bomb had been installed on the property. They claimed that search and rescue teams, including with bomb squads and dog teams, had arrived at the location. Police reported that at 9:27 a.m., Ambience Mall management got an email threatening to blow up the place.
“I planted bombs in the building,” the email, which was received from hiddenbones101@gmail.com, said. There will be no escape for any of you; everyone within the building will be slaughtered. You ought to die. I despise my life, which is why I put the bombs in the building. This attack is being carried out by Paige and Nora.” According to Assistant Commissioner of Police, DLF, Vikas Kaushik, the search operation turned out nothing unusual.
70% of the mall has been sanitized, and our teams—the bomb disposal squad and the dog squad, among others—are extensively inspecting every area of the building. So far, nothing unusual has been discovered, he added.
The Gurugram Police asked the people not to panic in an official statement.
It stated that it is working to identify the source of these emails and that thus far, it has discovered them to be hoaxes intended to frighten individuals.
Ambience Mall Gurgaon: On Saturday, the Gurgaon Police received a threat alleging that explosives will be planted at many malls, including the Ambience Mall in Gurgaon. Fol email threat, the police moved quickly to evacuate the Ambience Mall.

The search is being conducted by the police administration, dog squad, and civil defense team, according to Mohit Sharma, leader of the Gurugram civil defense team.
Thus far, the police units have not found anything suspicious anywhere. The people has been urged by the Gurugram Police not to become alarmed or concerned about the level of security. The source of the emails is being sought for by the Gurugram Police. According to the police statement, “the email received is likely to have been a hoax merely meant to incite panic,” based on their investigation thus far.
“Gurugram Police assures you that Gurugram Police is capable of handling and controlling any adverse situation and is always ready to serve you and ensure your security with all its resources,” it said.
The Gurugram Police asked the public to report rumor mongers to the agency. “If anyone gives misleading or false information on the basis of information about bombs or posts any such information on social media or through any other medium which affects law/peace and order, the Gurugram Police will promptly take legal action against him/her,” added the statement.
“Gurugram Police monitors social media closely. Therefore, please refrain from disseminating or posting any false, deceptive, or unfounded information. The notification further stated, “If anyone has any information regarding the same, please contact the local police station, the 112 hotline, or ACP (Crime) at 99999 81812.
